Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the team to manage financial-related affairs of the company and private office. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, expense management, and purchase orders and developing financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger by processing all private office and company-related invoices, payments, and purchases.
- Summarize and prepare financial records and statements
- Expense Management
- Assess all business transactions and prepare accurate reports on your findings.
- Conduct periodic audits to guarantee accuracy in financial records, expenses, and savings.
- Organize and file all federal, state, and local income tax documents.
- Contribute to budgeting procedures.
- Regularly brief management on the company’s financial position and recommend solutions to improve results.
- Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes.
- Ensure you remain up-to-date on industry changes and changes in regulations.
- Respond to tax- and accounting-related issues.
- Handling employees’ payroll with good knowledge of WPS and MOHRE rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a public accountant is preferred in the GCC.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Outstanding tax knowledge of local and federal regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting software and MS Office.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
