Full job description
The Physician Assistant provides care and treatment to patients with physician supervision and in accordance with established regulations, privileges, and protocols.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases for patients of all ages.
- Treat patients in a diligent, knowledgeable and skillful manner in accordance with current standards of practice, applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and accrediting bodies.
- Consult with medical staff concerning matters beyond or outside professional ability.
- Assist in the training and education of students, nurses, and paramedical personnel as requested in matters within professional specialty.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation timely.
- Stay current and comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain membership in good standing on the Medical Staff.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
Experience:
As required for Certification
Licensure/Certification:
Valid Certification by the Kentucky State Board of Medical Licensure

Schedule: Full Time, Days, M-F, 8-5
