Pizzano Contractors , a leading commercial general contractor serving the DC metro area since 1958, is looking for a Project Accountant to join our team in Old Town Alexandria. What You’ll Do:
As a Project Accountant, you’ll work closely with our Project Managers and accounting team to ensure financial accuracy, maintain project budgets, and support overall project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and code all job-related invoices and credit card receipts
- Route invoices for project manager approval
- Prepare and submit AIA and service billings
- Track project costs and assist in WIP (Work-In-Progress) reporting
Help improve accounting processes and financial reporting
What You Bring:
- Experience with Sage 300 CRE (Timberline)
- Experience with Procore (or other construction management software)
- Understanding of construction accounting and job costing
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
