Why We Need This Role:
We’re growing fast and expanding our finance team to support that growth. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C) ownership, Accounts Payable (AP) processing, and monthly reconciliations. This role requires a solid understanding of GAAP and experience preparing and posting accurate journal entries. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, values operational excellence, and is committed to upholding financial integrity.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, including customer invoicing, cash application, collections, and revenue tracking.
- Manage Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate coding, timely payments, and effective vendor relationships.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, reclasses, and other general ledger activity in alignment with GAAP.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts such as cash, AR, AP, and accruals.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
- Assist in audit preparation by providing schedules and supporting documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance O2C and AP efficiency and accuracy.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to O2C, AP, and journal entries—or experience at a Big 4 firm.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply principles to real-world transactions.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred (e.g., Sage Intacct, Bill.com).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- CPA or CPA track is a plus.
- Experience supporting SaaS business model from product launch to the full O2C process.
What You’ll Get:
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
- Exciting opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding company.
- Remote-first flexibility
- A collaborative, mission-driven team environment.
