Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

As our Senior Accountant extraordinaire, your job is to unleash your superhuman abilities and

will oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You’ll work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the RF and microwave industry. Oh, and did we mention that you’ll be based in the heart of Austin, Texas, where the tech scene is as hot as our BBQ?

Requirements: 

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

• Track and monitor all billings and collections and prepares forecasts as needed.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Oversee the activities of accounts payable, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable.
• Oversee the activities of accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable.
• Provide data and reports as needed to outside Tax Preparers to ensure compliance and proper reporting of Federal and State taxes.
• Support all financial audit activities.
• Work with VP Finance to establish annual budget and track actual and forecast.
• Support the VP Finance as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate strategic business decisions.
• Assist in reviewing payroll for accurate and timely reporting to ensure updates and proper time keeping and time off reporting is processed.

What We’re Looking for in Our Senior Accountant:

• Provides direct support to senior management and other functional areas in the form of periodic reporting and tracking of the financial metrics.
• Assists with the annual outside financial audit, periodic DCSA and other government audits of financial data, and the support of customer financial audits.
• Also assists with month end closing, cost analysis, contract related functions, and cash collections and payments.

Skills & Qualifications You Need:

• Global Shop ERP Accounting and finance experience is preferred.
• Reasonable knowledge of budgetary management and accounting principles and procedures.
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; any certifications a plus!
• You possess excellent written and verbal communication.
• You’re self-motivated, a multitasking wizard, and detail-oriented like a hawk.
• Prioritization is your middle name, and you thrive in high-pressure situations.
• You play well with others and are a logical thinker, always ready to tackle customer challenges.
